The Hydronix 10" Sediment Filter Cartridge is the same 5 micron rated cartridge as the Liquatec SDF-25-1005 Sediment Filter. This sediment water filter cartridge is made from 100% pure polypropylene (pp filter) and is also known as part number SDC-25-1005. The cartridge is constructed with graded density and multi-stage depth filtration that traps particles for superior dirt holding capacity and performance over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-1005, this Hydronix filter also replaces the Pentek 155014-43 as well as the Watts FPMB5-978.
The Hydronix 10" Sediment Water Filter Cartridge reduces sand, rust, dirt, silt and sediment in drinking water, by trapping various sized particles layer-by-layer. This filter is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for GAC filters. It is ideal for a wide range of residential, industrial, commercial and food service applications. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-1005 filter cartridge, this Hydronix sediment water filter is an economical replacement filter for the Watts FlowPro FPMB5-978 Melt Blown Sediment Filter.
